Job summary

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate will be a Junior profile with a passion for innovation and a drive to make an impact in the financial technology sector. If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding role in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Why this role is important to us

Amundi Technology is seeking a Junior Developer to join our Innovation Lab in Dublin. The successful candidate will be working closely within our IT teams in close cooperation with a portfolio manager to support two missions: the development of a behavior analysis module and the retrospective of a quant platform called Omega.

What you will be responsible for

  • Develop a behavior analysis module to support portfolio managers in making data-driven investment decisions.
  • Conduct a retrospective of the Omega quant platform to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure its alignment with the needs of the business.
  • Communicate frequently with portfolio managers to ensure an iterative development process.
  • Data Analysis and Modelling: The candidate will work on developing a behavior analysis module and conduct a retrospective of a quant platform, which will require a strong understanding of statistical methods and data analysis techniques.
  • Programming: The candidate will have the opportunity to work with Python, a widely used programming language in the finance and technology industries. This will help the candidate develop and strengthen their programming skills.
  • Communication: As the candidate will be working closely with portfolio managers and communicating frequently with them, they will have the opportunity to improve their communication skills and learn how to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Financial Markets: By working in the Innovation Lab of a financial technology company, the candidate will have the opportunity to learn about financial markets and the role of technology in supporting investment decision-making.
  • Teamwork: The candidate will be part of a team of IT professionals and will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with them to achieve shared goals.

This role offers a unique opportunity for the candidate to learn and grow in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and to make a tangible impact on the financial technology sector.
